01 · The object

One device.
Three places.

These renders define the visual direction: compact proportions, translucent dusty-pink enclosure, a small pink e-paper window, soft rounded ends and no oversized desktop-computer appearance.

The device is always connected with two cables: Ethernet and USB-C power. The screen stays at roughly one quarter of the device width.
01

Wall

Mount it near the network connection. Keep the two cables routed cleanly downward or behind the enclosure.

02

Shelf

Let it stand as a small piece of domestic hardware with the e-paper status display visible.

03

Desk

Place it next to a workstation and use its storage and web services over the local network.

02 · What OBLAK does

Your home,
on one box.

Linux underneath, simple services above it. OBLAK becomes the central storage and application node while music and DNS can remain on their dedicated Raspberry Pis.

N

Storage

NFS and Samba expose shared storage. WebDAV and Filebrowser can provide controlled remote access.

M

Media

Jellyfin handles movies and media. Navidrome deliberately remains on the separate music Pi.

P

Private access

WireGuard provides remote access while UFW and fail2ban reduce the exposed attack surface.
